Welcome to my little corner of the Intarwebs. Expect to see mostly art or fandom-related posts (esp. Dragon Age, Assassin's Creed, Gundam Wing, & Top Gear)
And that you could love him and die for him and not just fuck him up the ass like, literally, everybody did before. -thumbs up-
Seriously, though. Talking to Zevran was one of the best things I ever did. Not because he sounded like freakin’ Puss n’ Boots, but because it was like opening Pandora’s Box. It’s pretty on the outside, and you’re like, “Hmm. I wonder what’s inside!” So, you open it. And, suddenly, there’s this shit-storm of nasty crap—pain, darkness, sickness, death—and your like, “WHOA DAMN!” as it smacks you in the face and the hits just keep coming. But, eventually, all the nasty things have poured out, and their gone, and you slam the lid back down, leaving hope inside. That’s what you leave Zevran with. And it was one of the best damn feelings in the world.
Ouch. Right in the feels. So damn true. And I fucking judge you when you write him off as a yucky, sleazy elf.
No. Just. NO!
Alistair might be my favorite LI and character of the series, but I love Zev not any less. He is the guy marching to the black city and back for you, if you sodding care to speak with him beforehand.
Taking an assassin who was paid to kill you in your party without making the effort to befriend him and make sure he remains on your side = poor leadership and idiocy.
This post is good and you all should feel good. ♥
My Warden never romanced Zevran (total Alistair fangirl here X3), but we became BFFs, and he’s going to be at my side when we take down the Archdemon. The way it should be. There couldn’t be anything more noble for him to accomplish than saving Ferelden/the world, could there?

Sounding like Puss in Boots is just an added bonus. Zev and Shale were my favorite characters in Origins.
